What do you clean your dental operatory with?
I was put in charge of finding the best cleaner for our patient rooms. My office was using Birex. We are currently using Cavicide however the sales rep. said it’s not good to use on the chairs, hoses etc…. Also they stated that you should not make your own wipes with 4×4s and cavicide. So I would like to know what you use and why you think it is best.
For hoses etc you must use a triple enzymatic cleaner, for chairs also just ot spray and wipe down, speak to the dental rep of a few companies and find out the products, you basically need one for a surface disinfectant to wipe chairs and counter tops and another for suction pipes like a triple enzymatic one, if you also need for instruments then you need a cold sterilant and then heat the instruments in an autoclave
